Training and Discipleship aim to better equip Christians to serve others. One of YWAM Nexia's main thrusts is to provide as many opportunities as possible for young people to be better equipped to serve others all over the world. The main avenue is through our YWAM Nexia Discipleship Training School (DTS).

DTS is also a requirement for applying as YWAM staff, and serves as a prerequisite to all other training programs.

Another way we offer training is through our NEW YWAM NEXIA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. This 12-month "hands on" course is designed for those wanting to take that next step into missions and receive fantastic practical training for service. Hosted in beautiful Vancouver, BC, students will have plenty of opportunities to be challenged as well as interact with YWAM staff members in various settings. Find out more here.

If you are still looking for more option, YWAM offers training through the University of the Nations (U of N). Here, missionaries can study in specialized areas such as science and technology, linguistics, the humanities, and Christian ministry. Most YWAM schools combine classroom teaching with relationship-centered discipleship and practical service.
