YWAM Nexia Staff Internship Update
January 2011 Update
It had only been a few days into January and already the adventures of 2011 had begun. Our team of six YWAMers from Finland, England and the US gathered in Vancouver, preparing to embark on a three-week mobilization tour. The team was a mixture of staff from YWAM Nexia, YWAM Turner Valley and YWAM alumni, and we were brought together by our passion to speak to young people in Western Canada. Our desire was to inspire and encourage our own generation to walk in what God has called them to, and to awaken them to the need for people to share the gospel across the world.

Our tour led us to eight cities in British Columbia and Alberta, speaking to almost 900 people at 19 events and sleeping in 25 different host homes! As we moved from church to church we shared stories of God’s immense love, His provision and His power working through our weaknesses and inadequacies to reach people all over the world. Time and time again we heard from people that this was the message that they needed to hear. We were blown away by the connections that we made, the conversations that God had clearly ordained and the hospitality that met us at every door. After 4,074km of driving we finally rolled back into Vancouver knowing that God had used us to speak His heart and we are expect many more great things to come through the words we spoke on this tour.
